I couldn’t see where it said sold so I messaged the seller & they confirmed it’s been sold. Someone just got stuck with a $185 usd fake  baby blue legacy flap with a US creed & “S” plant code...I wonder if I tell the seller its fake they might reach out to the buyer. I doubt it though
Was it on ebay? Do you remember any key words from the title?

ETA: Here's the listing:

Yep, that’s the one. I was a little hesitant to post the link in hall of shame after the recent incident involving the same style/colour bag. I reported it, hopefully Ebay steps in & cancels the sale.

Authentic, probably early 90s. It looks like someone already tried to remove the ink unsuccessfully, lightening the leather all around it. I would try zit cream on the ink, and if that doesn't work, paint. Be aware that dunking could make the ink spread, but ultimately I think the bag would benefit from a dunk.
Thank you @whateve for your authentication, appreciated.

I’ll try the spot cream recommendation first and see how she cleans up. Will post on Rehab and Rescue in due course.

Thanks again

Gifted to me years back but was bought in an online store.

Hi all! Please help me authenticate this Coach 1941 Rouge 25. The stitches in the creed looks odd but there's a white tag inside the inner pocket with the serial. The Coach logo in the Tag also seems off because the carriage's details is not embossed clearly. I also saw posts from authentic similar bag with a purple suede lining and I'm wondering why mine is in utility green consistent with the leather color outside. The bag smells like a genuine leather, though. The handles give a squeaky sound too when moved up and down. I feel like this is a knockoff but I am not so sure. I'll appreciate any input you can give. Thank you in advanced!

Over the years, we've seen some extremely close fakes among the 1941 collection bags, including Rogues.

I have serious concerns but will request a second opinion from @houseof999.

These are my concerns:
1. The "made in" label shows the bag as being MFF (made for the factory outlets) but the white label with serial number shows a boutique item
2. The stamp on the bottom says "genuine glove tanned leather" and doesn't include "pebble"
3. The creed stitching isn't properly secured and the stitch length is too long
4. Difference in hangtag

I agree, too many red flags. I am pretty sure it's a fake. The outside pockets should have navy suede lining, not green microfiber fabric. The Creed patch should have normal serial number with year and plant location and style number. See Creed patch here:
